Partner
Sony, who has been with Badranaya Partnership since 2022, is a partner who focuses his practice on capital markets, real estate, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), foreign direct investment (FDI), and banking & finance. Over the years, he has amassed extensive industry-specific knowledge and expertise across a range of key sectors in the financial industry, including ground-breaking bank acquisition and merger deals, financial technology services, and Indonesian Financial Authority (OJK) regulatory & compliance.
Sony graduated from the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University. Prior to joining Badranaya Partnership, Sony was the Head of Legal and Compliance at PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas, one of Asia’s largest brokerage firms backed by UOB Kay Hian Holdings Limited, a Singaporean global investment bank.
Sony is the Head of Badranaya’s Capital Markets Practice, focusing on both onshore and offshore debt and equity offerings and other cross-border financial transactions.
